An addictive appetizer with a sweet and spicy kick, these candied cashews make a great snack to munch on after a long day at work.
Cook Time: 5 minutes Serving Size: 1 cup (about 8 ounces)
1/2 pound (8 ounces) of roasted cashews
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
1 teaspoon of salt (if the cashews are pre-salted, you may want to omit the additional salt)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Place all ingredients in a skillet and cook over medium heat until the butter melts and the cashews are coated with the sugar and cayenne. Store in airtight container for up to 1 week.
